Production Team Lead

The function of the Production Team Leader is to produce third-party customers and group products following all safety, quality and Production procedures by providing direction to teams of Production Operators.

Core Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned) 

• Prepare and set up Production equipment.
• Prepare and stage all materials for Production campaigns.
• Complete reporting as necessary, including Shift Change Reports, End of Campaigns, etc.
• Operate and troubleshoot various types of Production equipment.
• Operate a forklift.
• Provide training and direction to Production Operators (2 to 4) on one or more Production units simultaneously.
• Any other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor, Plant Manager or other Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work in a high volume/high speed environment
• Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures
• Must be able to wear a respirator or PAPR

Minimum Education/experience:

High School Diploma or GED. Prefer at least one year of Production experience.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand and bend. Required to lift up to 70 pounds throughout the day.

Must be able to see and hear.

Work Environment:

Plant environment. Regular exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.
