Major Responsibilities

  • Understand and effectively communicate product offerings, functionality, positioning, and competitive advantage
  • Develop and execute a territory plan by building relationships with distributors and key end users, driving awareness of our products, and effectively communicating features and benefits of CSI and our products
  • Manage and grow existing customer base by understanding and anticipating customer needs
  • Identify and resolve any customer concerns and recommend a course of action to alleviate future concerns.  Communicate to leadership quickly on corrective actions
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of pertinent customer information, future plans, payment performance, and communicate any information that would affect company decisions
  • Maintain an understanding and knowledge of competitor products and programs by identifying and reporting intelligence on pricing and marketing strategies
  • Submit ongoing territory reports via Salesforce to include daily activities, competitor information, and customer interaction

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timelines

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or pest control



  • BS/BA (preferably) in business, entomology, or a related field
  • Ability to travel extensively within territory (80% of the time), territory includes MI, OH, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, ND, SD, NE, KS
  • Reliable transportation with clean driving record
  • Goal of becoming successful in performing territory development activities and personal growth opportunities within Control Solutions
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
